Efoil Board Size and Volume

Like any other water sport, the capacity of the Efoil board is a factor that needs to be considered, as well as length, width, and thickness. This is necessary as the volume you have to choose depends on the weight of the passenger, the passenger level, and the purpose for which it will be used. Heavy and beginner riders need a larger board as it has a larger volume. It is very stable to help you get your balance and speed up and that is why we will recommend Cruising Efoil for beginners and heavyweight riders.

Small boards are ideal for lightweight riders or even advanced riders. You can use an electric hydrofoil board with a low volume board if you want high speed, low volume, light board, and easy to use. It is ready to make complex directions and sharp turns and that is why we recommend the  Efoil Carver V2 for advanced riders.

The length of the Efoil pillar

The height of the pillar needs to be considered as it determines how high you can fly over water and keep your wings submerged in water. The water in which you will be riding also needs a proper pillar. A long pillar is recommended for open seas, oceans, and wave pools/lakes. You will need 70 inches in height to ride over the chop. A short pillar is good enough for flat water and is very forgiving, especially for beginners. At  Efoil we have a variety of 2 50 cm mast sizes recommended for entry-level, heavier riders, and learning. A 70 cm Efoil mast  is recommended for advanced riders.

Efoil Battery Life

Battery weight nothing is more frustrating than not having enough time to enjoy something you love or start to enjoy. You cannot go ahead with a faulty battery. Be sure to check the battery life. You can also consider boards by purchasing 1 battery. Typically, schools have more than 2 or 3 batteries used with the same electric hydrofoil so they can conduct backup lessons so they can still have fun and continue their studies while charging another. The battery can also determine the maximum speed that you can use while riding. When the battery life is short, the distance you can get is shorter.
